Korbit is running a digital-asset donation campaign with the Korean Red Cross to support descendants of independence patriots.
Korbit said on July 15 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Red Cross and launched the 'Remember 1945' campaign to help descendants of independence patriots. The campaign runs for about three months, from July 15 through Oct. 15.
Korbit members can donate in five digital assets: bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), XRP, tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC).
Donations raised through the campaign will be used for the Korean Red Cross programme to support descendants of independence patriots.
A Korbit official said, "It is meaningful to help descendants of independence patriots together with the Korean Red Cross," adding, "We will support digital-asset donations so they can become a new way to support descendants of independence patriots."
