SOOP secures three-year exclusive online rights to broadcast FIVB events, to live stream AVC Cup
SOOP has secured exclusive online broadcasting rights for major volleyball events organised by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), strengthening its sports streaming lineup. The company will exclusively live stream multiple FIVB competitions through 2028, including the AVC Cup, Asian Championship, Volleyball Nations League and World Championship. Its first broadcast is the ongoing 2026 men’s AVC Cup, covering all matches from group stage to the final.

SOOP completes KOVO membership approval, names Lee Min-won as inaugural owner
SOOP has completed membership approval from the Korea Volleyball Federation, formalising the launch of a women’s professional volleyball team and joining the V-League. The company said it received approval at a special KOVO board meeting held on June 2. It will begin full-scale founding procedures, including building the roster and operating system. Subsidiary SOOPTV will handle operations, with CEO Lee Min-won appointed as the inaugural owner.

SOOP to exclusively stream all qualifying matches of amateur and pro volleyball Futures
SOOP will exclusively livestream all qualifying matches of the 2026 Korea Amateur Volleyball Federation and Pro Volleyball Futures Champ tournament in Danyang, it said on Wednesday. The tournament will be held in Danyang, North Chungcheong province, from June 7 to 16. SOOP plans to expand coverage beyond the semifinals and finals to include every qualifying match. It will apply V-League-level equipment and production systems to women’s matches.
