Aton supplies quantum-resistant cryptography solution to Eastar Jet, expands customers beyond finance

Aton said on Wednesday it signed a contract with Eastar Jet to supply its PQC-based mobile OTP solution, Quantum SafeOTP, for authentication of access rights to the airline\'s internal systems for employees. It is the first time Aton has supplied a solution to an airline. The company has built PQC references mainly in finance, including banks, securities, virtual assets and fractional investment.

Brazil\'s crypto market more than quadruples in five years as banks expand products

Brazilian banks are rapidly expanding digital-asset products for customers as the country’s cryptocurrency regulatory framework becomes more defined. Brazil’s 2025 crypto trading value hit a record 505.5 billion reais, up about 433 percent from 2020, Decrypt reported. Major financial groups offer more tokens through investment apps, but banks have not moved to holding cryptocurrencies with their own capital. Central bank filings showed proprietary holdings at zero.

Digital asset taxation four months away, calls to redesign blanket other-income classification

With digital asset taxation set to begin next year, a proposal has emerged to revise the current system that classifies both transfer and lending income as other income. Speakers at a National Assembly forum said income categories should reflect the economic substance of different transaction types, including trading, mining and staking. They also called for stronger enforcement infrastructure, including linking transaction data across domestic and overseas exchanges and personal wallets.
