Hana Financial opens AI, digital jobs centre for middle-aged in Gwangju Seo-gu
Hana Financial Group has opened a jobs centre in Seo-gu, a district of the Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City, to help middle-aged people strengthen AI and digital skills and support re-employment. Hana Financial said it opened the Gwangju Seo-gu New Middle-Aged AI and Digital Jobs Centre on Aug. 25. The centre is the third under its Hana Power On Second Life programme, following openings in Seoul’s Gangnam-gu in 2024 and Sejong in January.

NH NongHyup Bank makes 10 billion won special contribution to support 150 billion won in loans
NH NongHyup Bank will provide 150 billion won in financial support to ease funding costs for locally based businesses, including village enterprises. The bank said on Aug. 13 it will make a special contribution of 10 billion won to regional credit guarantee foundations nationwide to 추진 tailored financing of 150 billion won. It will also lower interest burdens through interest subsidies linked to local government partnership loans.

NH Nonghyup Financial to push regional close-to-home finance project in second half
NH Nonghyup Financial Group will promote a “regional close-to-home finance project” as a key task in the second half of the year. It plans to expand investment and lending to region-specific industries and companies and focus group capabilities on easing the financial burden of vulnerable groups and delinquent debtors. The group reviewed second-half plans at a special committee meeting in Seoul and said it supplied a total of 14 trillion won in productive and inclusive finance in the first half.
