Korea media watchdog blocks access to 1,887 SNS posts soliciting or inducing prostitution

South Korea\'s Broadcast Media and Communications Deliberation Commission on Sunday decided to request access blocks for 1,887 items of information on social networking services that solicit or induce prostitution. The commission said it focused monitoring on posts using slang implying prostitution, listing prices and locations and steering users to direct messages. The measures also covered 250 items aimed at luring minors, including offers to buy cigarettes. It will also seek deletions from overseas platforms.
