NC AI, CMES Robotics to cooperate on physical AI technology development

NC AI said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with AI robotics company CMES Robotics for joint research and development and technology sharing on physical AI. The companies plan to pursue joint R&D, share core technologies and research results, and identify and advance next-generation robotics solutions. NC AI will develop world model and robot foundation model technologies, while CMES Robotics will handle on-site validation using manufacturing and logistics data.

RLWRLD hires former AWS executive Kartik Krishnamurthy to lead GTM and partnerships

Physical AI company RLWRLD said on Tuesday it has hired former Amazon Web Services executive Kartik Krishnamurthy as a founding member and leader for global market entry and strategic partnerships. Krishnamurthy will join RLWRLD’s U.S. leadership team and lead commercial expansion across the United States and Europe. He previously spent about 10 years at AWS, including roles leading global strategy and business development in automotive and smart manufacturing and supply chain industries.

KT bets on AX with 18 trillion won investment over three years to grow AIDC and token factory

KT set out a new vision to move beyond its role as a key national telecommunications operator and become an \"AI transition (AX) platform company.\" It plans to expand AI data centres and pursue new businesses such as a token factory and stablecoins. KT will invest about 12 trillion won over three years in information security, IT and networks, and about 5 trillion won to add 1GW of AIDC capacity. It will also invest 1 trillion won to expand undersea cable capacity.
