KT Cloud wins CSAP certification for AI Foundry public products

KT Cloud said on April 21 it has launched public cloud products for its end-to-end AI platform, AI Foundry, and is stepping up efforts to target the public AX market. The company said its RAG Suite and VectorDB won mid-tier certification under the Cloud Security Assurance Program, enabling customers to use AI in cloud environments. KT Cloud plans to register the products with NIA’s digital services contracting system in April.

Removing data complexity key to making enterprise AI work properly

As enterprise computing vendors move faster to pair AI agents with both hardware and software, Oracle is stepping up efforts to optimise its core database technology for AI. Its strategy focuses on bringing AI to where data resides so it can be used securely, easily and without lock-in. Oracle has unveiled Oracle AI Database 26ai, which it says places AI at the heart of data management and integrates vector search and an agentic AI framework.

Public cloud certification to be unified under NIS approval from second half 2027

South Korea will simplify verification for cloud companies seeking access to the public sector by unifying the process under a single National Intelligence Service security review. The Ministry of Science and ICT and the NIS announced the plan on April 20. Products already certified under the existing Cloud Security Assurance Program will remain valid until their expiry. The government will revise related security guidelines in the first half of this year, set a one-year grace period and enforce the new system from the second half of 2027.
