Bespin Global, an AI services and solutions company, said on Wednesday it won a citation from the Minister of Finance and Economy at the sixth Procurement Day ceremony.

The Procurement Day event holds annual awards on the day to mark Sept. 30, 2002, when the state e-procurement system Nara Jangteo opened.

Bespin Global said it plans to expand its business in the public procurement market following the award. It will pursue measures including securing a direct procurement channel for public institutions by registering with Nara Jangteo’s integrated online shopping mall. It will also expand its AI business using Digital Professional Services contracts and Multiple Award Schedule contracts. The company also plans to broaden AI agent templates tailored to public sectors such as administration, welfare and safety, and to optimise environments for the public cloud G-Cloud.

Heo Yang-ho (허양호), head of Bespin Global Korea, said the citation reflects recognition of the company’s technology and ability to execute in the public AI market. He said it will broaden public AI innovation through services encountered in daily life by people nationwide, such as the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s "Everyone’s Square" platform.
