Meritz Securities to review global distribution of tokenised financial assets with Optimism

Meritz Securities will work with the Optimism Foundation, which operates Ethereum layer2 network OP Mainnet, to review the issuance, settlement and distribution structure for tokenised financial assets. The company said it signed a memorandum of understanding for business cooperation. It plans to examine ways to tokenise domestic financial assets and distribute them to global investors through a public blockchain ecosystem, while considering global trends and the status of domestic token securities rules.

Lido adds direct Ethereum staking across four layer2 networks

Liquid staking protocol Lido added a feature to its staking interface that lets users stake Ethereum on four layer2 networks: Arbitrum, Base, Linea and Optimism. Users receive wstETH on the network they already use without moving assets to Ethereum mainnet and back. The service is provided based on Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol. Deposited ETH is swapped via a dedicated liquidity pool and is ultimately staked on Ethereum mainnet.

StarkWare launches \'Shadow Accounts\' on StarkNet to separate DeFi positions from wallet address

StarkWare has launched a \"Shadow Accounts\" feature on StarkNet, enabling apps to offer a public-to-private switching option. Users can hold decentralised finance positions without directly exposing their main wallet address. StarkWare described shadow accounts as per-app pseudonymous accounts, while noting that token balances, call history and positions remain visible on-chain. Demo materials also warned amounts and transaction times are disclosed, allowing activity to be linked.
