Waymo robotaxi logs 500,000 weekly paid rides in 10 U.S. cities, tenfold growth in two years
Waymo is rapidly expanding its influence in the U.S. robotaxi market. Alphabet-owned Waymo is recording 500,000 paid robotaxi trips a week across 10 cities, a tenfold increase in two years, TechCrunch reported on March 27. Waymo has expanded service beyond Phoenix, San Francisco and Los Angeles to seven more cities. Regulators are also examining issues including how its robotaxis recognized school buses.

Samsung Display supplies three OLED types for Zeekr SUV 9X
Samsung Display said on Tuesday it is supplying three OLED displays for Zeekr\'s 9X SUV, including 16-inch driver and passenger displays and a 17-inch rear-seat entertainment screen. It said it began supplying OLED panels to Zeekr with the 009 model in 2024. The company said the 9X has ranked first for two straight months in China sales of large SUVs in the 500,000 yuan class.
