Sunday Robotics unveils home robot AI that folds laundry in unfamiliar homes
A home-robot artificial intelligence model that can fold unfamiliar clothes in unfamiliar homes has been unveiled. U.S. startup Sunday Robotics announced its new AI model, ACT-2, for its wheeled home robot Memo. The company said Memo achieved a success rate of more than 99 percent in tests involving untrained clothing and unfamiliar home environments. It also proposed SOLVE as a standard for evaluating how reliably robots perform in real settings.

Figma acquires Bud development team to boost AI coding and prototyping
Online design platform Figma has acquired the development team behind vibe coding and AI agent platform Bud, TechCrunch reported on Monday. Figma pursued the deal to strengthen its AI functions and integrate coding and prototyping processes within its platform. Under the agreement, Bud and Okies will shut down their services by July 18, and users must migrate projects before then. Figma did not disclose how it will use the acquired team.

Other players include YC-backed Aside, Zetter, privacy-focused Brave and DuckDuckGo, and open-source newcomer Ladybird.
