[DigitalToday reporter Chi-kyu Hwang] Clueso, an enterprise AI video production platform startup, has raised $10 million in Series A funding, SiliconANGLE reported on Monday.

The report said the round was led by Darrana Capital, with participation from Founders Fund and Y Combinator. Clueso's total funding has topped $12 million.

Companies need videos for customer onboarding, software instructions and employee training, but lack suitable tools to make them, so many still produce them manually in studios.

Clueso's platform has AI agents directly operate actual software screens to record video. The agents review apps and related documents to understand the product and then write a script tailored to the brand message. They then produce video, voice narration and motion graphics. If users request changes, the agents apply them.

The 'Clueprint' feature also helps brands adhere to their standards. Clueprint provides the agents with information and messaging related to a specific product. When new features are added to a product, videos are automatically updated as well.

The company said Zendesk adopted Clueso, boosting productivity by more than five times and cutting video production costs by 80 percent. Zendesk uses Clueso to produce customer education and internal training videos.

Clueso plans to increase its headcount to 50 from 35 by year-end. It will also broaden its scope to interactive product demos and document creation. CEO Anand said the long-term vision is for agents to take on more production work while people retain creative decision-making.
