Vice minister Ryu Je-myeong meets AI, ICT young talent to foster global leaders
Ryu Je-myeong (류제명), second vice minister at the Ministry of Science and ICT, met young talent active in artificial intelligence and information and communications technology on April 24 at an ITRC youth roundtable. The meeting, a key event of the ITRC Talent Development Fair 2026, discussed ways to support master\'s and doctoral students. Participants included KAIST professor Han In-su and Aim Intelligence CEO Yoo Sang-yoon, along with former and current ITRC participants.

LG Energy Solution steps up software push to lead battery-focused AI
LG Energy Solution is appointing 17 new research and expert fellows, its largest number ever, as it moves to strengthen competitiveness in battery-focused AI software. The appointments include the youngest research fellow since the spinoff, its first foreign research fellow and its first expert hire in AI. The company said the move reflects its intent to foster talent and reinforce technology leadership despite a difficult business environment.

Lawmaker Lee Hae-min holds roundtable with young developers at Wrtn Technologies
Lee Hae-min (이해민), a lawmaker from the Rebuilding Korea Party and a member of the National Assembly’s Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, held a roundtable on Feb. 24 with young AI startup developers and product managers. The meeting at AI service platform firm Wrtn Technologies included employees in their 20s and 30s working across AI agents, character chat, development automation tools, content services, marketing and product planning. Lee answered questions and said decisions should focus on user benefits.
