Hanwha Vision posts 2025 security unit operating profit of 182.3 billion won, up 52 percent

Hanwha Vision said on Feb. 5 it posted 2025 consolidated revenue of 1.79 trillion won and operating profit of 162.3 billion won. Its security business recorded revenue of 1.34 trillion won and operating profit of 182.3 billion won, up 10 percent and 52 percent from a year earlier. The company cited growth in Europe and the Middle East, and rising sales of AI-enabled network cameras.

Semifive expands mass production of Hanwha Vision AI security camera chip

Semifive said on Tuesday it will expand mass production of Wisenet9, an AI semiconductor for security cameras developed with Hanwha Vision. It said initial orders began in early 2025 and additional mass-production orders for hundreds of thousands of units have continued since the fourth quarter. The companies said the chip reflects demand for low power use, real-time processing and cost efficiency as video security systems shift toward real-time analysis.
