KT steps up AX capabilities with Microsoft through tech summit

KT is working with Microsoft and other specialist partners to strengthen execution in its AI transformation (AX) business. The company held the KT-MS Tech Summit at its Gwanghwamun West building in Seoul with key AX partners. The event shared experience from customer AX projects and KT’s internal innovation, and aimed to strengthen business application. It featured hands-on programs, a tech forum and partner booths for one-on-one consultations.

KT, Seoul National University Hospital to build medical AX platform

KT will work with Seoul National University Hospital to build a medical AI transformation (AX) platform, signing a memorandum of understanding in Seoul on Aug. 17. The two sides will jointly pursue a standard model for the platform, verification and advancement of government policy projects such as AI-native hospitals, AI-based clinical decision support and work efficiency, and broader expansion into the healthcare market. KT will take part across planning, development, validation and commercialisation.

KT selects AI video creators to support young artists

KT said on Wednesday it has made final selections of 6 young creators in the AI video field through its Y Artist Label AI Video Contest and will begin full-scale activities. The Y Artist programme, run by KT\'s Y brand, has selected 46 young creators since 2021. This year KT expanded the programme to AI video. Winners received prize money and will join KT marketing projects, including collaborations with shared-growth programmes.
