Bizplay, Woori Card team up to expand corporate business trip management services

Bizplay, a Webcash affiliate, is partnering with Woori Card to expand business trip management and card-related services for corporate customers. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on Sept. 18 to improve convenience for corporate travel and card tasks, Bizplay said on Monday. Bizplay will broaden access to its bzp trip management and non-face-to-face card reporting services, while Woori Card plans to market to companies and widen channels to recruit new corporate clients.

Simple payments expand acceptance as night stock trading ramps up

South Korea\'s simple payment companies are expanding where their services can be used by linking existing networks and supplying payment infrastructure to new sectors. Banks and internet-only lenders are also widening mobile lending and alternative credit offerings. Regulators and the government are moving on youth savings, transport fare support and payment security checks. After-hours trading has extended KOSPI and KOSDAQ hours to 8 p.m., while debate continues over digital asset taxation and related infrastructure.

Webcash to expand public finance AX, automating data search, analysis and routine tasks with AI

Webcash has proposed a plan to apply artificial intelligence to public agency fiscal work to automate data searches and analysis as well as repetitive tasks. The company said it held a “Public Finance AX Strategy Seminar” from Sept. 1 to 9 across four regions including Seoul, Naju, Daejeon and Busan for officials in finance, treasury and audit roles. It introduced cases using an AI agent, OPERIA, and a platform called AXPort.
