Bizplay, a Webcash affiliate, unveiled an AI-based business trip management solution that supports public institutions from travel planning to reservations and expense settlement.

Bizplay said on Aug. 31 it took part in the 8th AI Government Innovation Conference held on Aug. 27 at the Government Sejong Convention Center and introduced its AI-based business trip management solution, "bzp business trip management".

Bizplay gave a presentation to informatization officials from government ministries, public institutions and local governments, as well as representatives of private ICT companies, under the theme "Public institution business trip management changed by AI: from cost innovation to audit response".

Bzp business trip management recommends transportation options based on a traveler's schedule and purpose and automatically guides users to the lowest-priced flights when booking airfare.

At the settlement stage, it uses AI to detect the possibility of personal use or improper claims to reduce unnecessary spending and enable use in audit work. Bizplay said using the solution could cut audit-related costs by about 40 percent.

The company said adoption cases are also expanding. After corporate customers such as Hyundai Motor and Posco DX and SeAH Changwon Special Steel, use cases are also increasing in the public sector, including building the Ministry of Personnel Management's "smart business trip reservation and settlement" system for civil servants.

Bizplay CEO Chang-kyu Suk (석창규) said, "We will advance the entire process of travel planning, booking, settlement and auditing with AI to improve work efficiency at public institutions and increase transparency in budget execution."
