Strive builds bitcoin holdings to 25,000 BTC, ranks among top 5 public companies
U.S. asset manager Strive increased its bitcoin holdings by buying 469 bitcoin and lifting total holdings to 25,000 BTC. The purchases were made from Sept. 8 to 11 for about $36.6 million at an average price of $77,954 per bitcoin including fees and expenses. CEO Matt Cole said the company funded the purchase through the sale of its floating-rate perpetual preferred stock, SATA. Strive also holds cash and preferred shares of Strategy.

Strive buys 18 more bitcoin, holdings rise to 19,900 BTC
Asset manager Strive bought 18 more bitcoin last week, raising its total holdings to 19,900 BTC, Bitcoin Magazine reported on July 13. The purchases ran from July 6 to July 10 at an average price of about $64,028 per bitcoin including fees, for a total of about $1.2 million. As of July 10, Strive held $154.1 million in cash and cash equivalents and continued to hold Strategy’s STRC preferred shares.

Asset manager Strive bought an additional 17.76 bitcoin last week, lifting its total holdings to 19,882, according to an 8-K filing. The purchase was made from June 29 to July 2 at an average price of about $59,850. Strive said its second-quarter bitcoin yield was 24.0 percent, while noting the metric is not traditional and does not reflect debt or preferred claims. Cash holdings rose, but dividend obligations tied to its SATA preferred shares increased.
