VD Robotics launches HyperShellX wearable exoskeleton robots in South Korea
VD Robotics has officially launched the AI-based wearable exoskeleton robot HyperShellX series in South Korea. The company will act as the exclusive local distributor, taking charge of marketing, sales, distribution and after-sales service. The series uses an AI motion engine that recognises 12 types of movement and supports control in real time. Models range from Go to Ultra, priced from 1.49 million won to 3.299 million won, with sales targeted at more than 3,000 units this year.

Samsung Electronics\' memory business share keeps rising, makes up 82 percent of Q4 operating profit
Samsung Electronics posted its largest-ever fourth-quarter results in 2025, with its semiconductor division accounting for 82 percent of operating profit as memory led growth. The company said full-year revenue and operating profit rose 11 percent and 33 percent. Executives said the foundry business remained loss-making and System LSI performance fell. The mobile unit cited higher costs from memory price surges, while display and TV executives flagged uncertainty and tariff impacts in 2026.

Chinese TV brands target premium market as Samsung fights to hold top spot
Samsung Electronics, which has held the top spot in the global TV market for 22 years, is under growing pressure from China’s TCL. Counterpoint Research data showed Samsung’s shipment share slipped to 17 percent in November, while TCL lifted shipments 20 percent year on year. Samsung’s VD·DA revenue fell across three quarters and operating profit turned to a roughly 100 billion won loss in the third quarter. TCL is also moving into premium TVs via a Sony joint venture.
