Krafton\'s Subnautica 2 tops 1 million copies sold on early access launch day
Subnautica 2, developed by Krafton unit Unknown Worlds, sold more than 1 million copies on the day it launched in early access and ranked No. 1 in Steam global top revenue. Krafton released the game in early access on May 15 and it has maintained a “very positive” user rating on Steam. A cinematic trailer released on April 30 topped 10 million views, and a gameplay trailer released on May 9 exceeded 5 million views.

Early look at \'Subnautica 2\'... Krafton says survival is a means, exploration is core
Unknown Worlds, a Krafton unit, launched \'Subnautica 2\' in early access on May 15. Lead designer Anthony Gallegos (앤서니 가예고스) and creative media producer Scott MacDonald (스콧 맥도날드) earlier outlined a development philosophy centered on exploration, with survival as a tool. The game moves to an undisclosed new alien planet and is being built on Unreal Engine 5. It adds base-building changes, a new vehicle and four-player co-op with crossplay between Xbox and PC. Early access is planned for 2 to 3 years.

Krafton to launch \'Subnautica 2\' in early access on May 15
Krafton\'s creative studio Unknown Worlds will release the next installment in its ocean survival series, \'Subnautica 2\', next month. The studio set the early-access launch for May 15 at 0000 and disclosed pricing, setting the South Korea price at 33,700 won. It also released a new cinematic trailer showing new underwater vehicles and tools. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 graphics and adds a four-player co-op mode.
