Lummis says missing this session on Clarity Act could delay next chance until 2030

Republican U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis warned again that if the Clarity Act, a cryptocurrency market structure bill, is not handled within the current session, the next meaningful legislative opportunity could be delayed until 2030. She posted the message on X ahead of a procedural vote set for Sept. 15. The vote would determine whether the bill can move into full Senate consideration and requires 60 votes to end debate.

Kalshi U.S. visitors surge more than 1,500 percent as sports betting drives growth
