DTCC multi-chain expansion talk mentions XRP, but no official announcement yet
Market attention has returned to speculation that XRP Ledger could be included in the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation\'s tokenization platform. Some analysts point to DTCC\'s multi-chain strategy, a 2025 patent document that mentioned XRP Ledger, and Ripple Prime\'s links to DTCC\'s Fixed Income Clearing Corporation. DTCC has said only that its service will support multiple blockchains at launch and has named Stellar so far.

Kraken parent Payward revenue jumps on tokenization expansion
Kraken parent Payward posted adjusted first-quarter revenue of $507 million, Cointelegraph reported. Payward said futures trading rose 51 percent from a year earlier. Assets on the platform climbed 11 percent to $40 billion, while the number of funded accounts increased 47 percent to 6.1 million. Its tokenized stock platform xStocks expanded supported names to 100 and plans to increase them to more than 500 by end-2026.

Mirae Asset Securities U.S. unit joins DTCC tokenization working group
Mirae Asset Securities said on Thursday its U.S. unit will join the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation\'s Tokenization Working Group. DTCC is a key institution that provides clearing, settlement and depository infrastructure in U.S. capital markets. The group includes major global financial institutions and key digital-asset market participants, including JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, Citigroup, UBS and the New York Stock Exchange.
