Securitize shares fell 16 percent in premarket trading after its second-quarter earnings report. Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 13 that Securitize posted second-quarter total revenue of $14.4 million, but missed Wall Street estimates of $20.6 million.
Securitize's second-quarter total revenue fell 5 percent from a year earlier.
Revenue in its tokenization business also declined. Securitize's second-quarter tokenization revenue was $7.8 million, down 12 percent from $8.9 million in the second quarter of 2025.
Profitability also worsened. Net loss in the second quarter widened to $21.7 million from $6.1 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA swung to a loss of $5.5 million from a profit of $1.8 million.
By contrast, Securitize's average tokenized assets under management in the second quarter of 2026 were tallied at $4.3 billion. That was up 16 percent from a year earlier and a quarterly record.
