Woori Bank CEO Jung Jin-wan joins campaign to curb youth illegal gambling

Jung Jin-wan (정진완), chief executive of Woori Bank, joined the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency-led relay campaign to curb youth illegal gambling, he said on April 12. The campaign has been running since 2024 to highlight the risks of illegal gambling among teenagers and raise social awareness. Nominated by Hana Bank CEO Lee Ho-sung, Jung recommended Jin Sung-won of Woori Card as the next participant.

Woori Bank runs event for new and switched housing subscription customers

Woori Bank said on Thursday it will run two events for new and switched housing subscription customers through June 30. The campaign targets customers who switch housing subscription instalment savings from other financial institutions to Woori Bank’s housing subscription savings account. The bank will offer Shinsegae gift certificates to the first 1,000 customers and draw 500 more for additional vouchers after certain auto-transfer payments.
