Woori Bank said on Thursday it will run the "WON-derful Move" and "WON-derful KIDS" events for new and switched housing subscription customers through June 30.

The event targets customers who newly sign up after switching their housing subscription instalment savings from other financial institutions to Woori Bank’s housing subscription comprehensive savings account. The bank will give 30,000 won Shinsegae gift certificates to the first 1,000 customers. It will also draw 500 customers who make at least 6 additional payments after registering for automatic transfers and provide them an additional 20,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate.

It is also running the "WON-derful KIDS" event for minor customers. If a proxy such as a parent newly opens a housing subscription comprehensive savings account in the name of a child under age 14, the customer is automatically entered. Through a draw, a total of 10,000 recipients will be offered items including Saypen 5th generation devices (100 people), Kyochon Chicken coupons (1,400 people), Paris Baguette coupons (3,500 people) and Starbucks coupons (5,000 people).

It will also provide Starbucks coffee coupons to all customers who sign up for Woori Bank’s "Tintin Service" during the event period.

A Woori Bank official said benefits were expanded as institutional improvements made it possible to switch housing subscription instalment savings into a housing subscription comprehensive savings account. The official said the bank will continue to strengthen financial services to support customers’ stable housing preparations.
