Tmax Tibero said on Sunday it has launched a Korean-made database appliance, TDA (Tibero DB Appliance), in cooperation with server and storage company Eslim Korea. The company said TDA integrates Tibero DB and Eslim Korea servers into a single system and is optimised for database workloads to minimise performance bottlenecks. The two companies said they will expand cooperation from joint development to sales and marketing.

NHN Cloud said on May 20 it will provide database management system specialist TmaxTibero’s high-availability database clustering solution, Tibero Active Cluster (TAC), in a cloud environment. TAC is based on active-active clustering that runs multiple servers simultaneously to process the same tasks and ensure data safety and service continuity in the event of failures. NHN Cloud said it has optimized TAC components for its environment and will support high-availability operations for private and public sector users.
