GM EVs adopt NACS across 2027 lineup to use Tesla Superchargers without adapter

General Motors will install the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port as standard across its 2027-model-year electric vehicle lineup. New EVs from Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC will be able to use compatible NACS fast chargers, including Tesla Superchargers, without an adapter. Most 2026 models will still use CCS1 and need a NACS DC adapter for Superchargers. GM is also adding an Energy Pass feature to its apps to streamline registration and payment across multiple charging networks.
