Uber takeover rumor swirls around Kakao Mobility as Tesla launches six-seat Model Y L

As talk emerges of Uber taking management control, Kakao Mobility has continued a profitability improvement trend with operating profit rising for a third straight year. Uber Taxi launched its Premier Van service to target demand for large-vehicle ride-hailing. Tesla launches six-seat Model Y L in South Korea from 64.99 million won
Tesla Korea will introduce the long-wheelbase, three-row, six-seat electric SUV Model Y L to the domestic market from April 3. The launch comes as sales of the Model S and Model X have been halted, in a strategic lineup reshuffle positioning the Model Y L as a new main model. The Model Y L is longer and has an extended wheelbase, with a redesigned six-seat interior. Prices start at 64.99 million won.

MOLIT says unauthorised activation of Tesla FSD is illegal, up to 2 years in prison
South Korea\'s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said attempts to unauthorisedly activate Tesla\'s Full Self-Driving (FSD) function in the country are illegal and urged owners to refrain. The ministry said on March 31 that Tesla Korea had recognised a vulnerability in vehicle software related to such attempts and reported a cyber security threat situation. It warned violations could draw up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won.
