[Digital Today reporter Hyunwoo Choo (추현우)] Tesla Korea will switch sales of its supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) option from a one-off payment to a monthly subscription from Aug. 10. Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) will also differ in availability for new purchase depending on the country of production.

Tesla Korea said in an email notice on Friday that it will change the sales format for Tesla FSD (supervised). It is currently sold as a one-off payment of 9,043,000 won including VAT. From Aug. 10, that method will end and the option will switch to a subscription priced at 150,000 won a month including VAT. It applies to all models.

For EAP, vehicles produced in the United States will no longer be available for new purchase after Aug. 10. China-made vehicles can still be purchased, with the price set at 4,522,000 won including VAT.

For customers who already bought FSD (supervised) as a one-off payment, the option will remain included. Customers who have not yet ordered a new vehicle can place an order including the one-off option until Aug. 9, and only subscription will be available after the 10th. The same 기준 applies to customers who are operating a vehicle but have not purchased FSD (supervised).

Conditions also change for customers who already have EAP and move to FSD (supervised). A one-off upgrade is available until Aug. 9, but from the 10th a monthly subscription fee of 75,000 won will apply. Customers who have completed a new-vehicle order but have not yet purchased FSD (supervised) will be allowed to add the one-off option until Aug. 9 only for vehicles where design edits are possible, and in that case the price will be updated to the latest vehicle price 기준 the time of the change.

Tesla Korea added that the planned date of the change and detailed conditions may vary depending on finalisation of the policy and system readiness.
