Samsung Electronics wins carbon footprint, carbon reduction certification for 34 premium TV models
Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday it won carbon certifications from Germany\'s TUV Rheinland for 34 models of its 2026 TVs and soundbars. Fourteen models, including OLED and The Frame Pro TVs and soundbars, received Product Carbon Reduction certification, while 20 models, including Micro RGB and MiniLED TVs, received carbon footprint certification. Samsung said the 2026 Q990H soundbar obtained both certifications.

Lenovo expands premium OLED monitor lineup for professionals
Lenovo’s South Korea unit said it has launched two new monitors domestically: the Yoga Pro 27UD-10 aimed at creators and the Legion 27Q-10 OLED aimed at gamers. Both use QD-OLED panels and carry TUV Rheinland Eyesafe 2.0 certification. The Yoga model features a 26.5-inch 4K display, factory calibration and built-in camera, microphones and speakers. The Legion model offers 240Hz refresh and console mode support. Lenovo offers three-year warranties for both.

Xiaomi Poco M8 5G launches in South Korea with 5,520 mAh battery
Xiaomi Korea said it will release the Poco M8 5G in South Korea on Jan. 26. The handset weighs 178 grams and has a 5,520 mAh battery in a 7.35 mm body, with IP66 water and dust resistance. It uses Qualcomm\'s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and supports AI features, 45W fast charging and RAM expansion up to 16GB. The phone has a 6.77-inch Flow AMOLED display, dual speakers, a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 20-megapixel front camera. A first-purchase gift runs from Jan. 26 to Feb. 8.
