Com2uS boosts profitability on baseball games, eyes H2 growth with Zeus and Crimson Inferno

Com2uS said it sharply improved first-quarter profitability, helped by growth in its baseball games and more efficient spending. It reported revenue of 144.7 billion won and operating profit of 5.1 billion won, while posting a net loss of 8.3 billion won due to valuation losses on investment assets. Com2uS Q1 operating profit up 207 percent, flags new game push in second half

Com2uS said on Tuesday its first-quarter operating profit surged 206.9 percent from a year earlier, despite a 13.9 percent fall in revenue. It reported consolidated revenue of 144.7 billion won and operating profit of 5.1 billion won. The company attributed the profit improvement to its baseball game lineup based on KBO and MLB and core title Summoners War: Sky Arena. It plans new launches in the second half.
