Com2uS signalled an improvement in its business structure by returning to net profit despite a drop in operating profit last year. It aims to rebound this year on the back of a lineup of new titles.

On Feb. 12, Com2uS filed that it posted 2025 consolidated revenue of 693.8 billion won, operating profit of 2.4 billion won and net profit of 5.5 billion won, based on its annual financial statements.

Annual revenue came to 693.8 billion won, roughly unchanged from the previous year’s 693.9 billion won, while operating profit fell 60.7 percent. Net profit totalled 5.5 billion won, swinging to profit from a 151.9 billion won loss a year earlier.

Fourth-quarter results showed a notable recovery. Revenue rose 11.5 percent from the previous quarter to 179.8 billion won. Operating profit came to 19.0 billion won, turning positive from a 19.6 billion won loss in the previous quarter. Compared with the same period a year earlier, operating profit jumped 778.6 percent. Fourth-quarter net profit also turned positive, reaching 15.2 billion won.

The result came as the impact of a major update to "Summoners War: Sky Arena" coincided with off-season-free growth in its baseball game lineup. It was seen as showing that profitability in its core businesses is recovering, alongside efforts to improve cost efficiency.

Com2uS aims for a full-fledged performance quantum jump this year through a strong lineup of new titles and a drive into global markets.

It plans to release new titles across genres, including "Do Won Am Gui Crimson Inferno" based on intellectual property from a well-known Japanese animation and the massively multiplayer online role-playing game "Project ES" under development by Aiberton. It also plans to maintain solid results by strengthening live services for existing cash cows such as "Summoners War" and its baseball game lineup.

A Com2uS official said, "Based on last year’s return to profit and strong fourth-quarter performance, we will add new-title performance this year to achieve both top-line growth and a strengthening of fundamentals at the same time."
