DB Financial Investment joins Ethereum Korea One as title sponsor
DB Financial Investment will take part as title sponsor of the Ethereum conference \"Ethereum Korea One: Genesis\" to be held in Seoul in September. The event will discuss the status of token securities business initiatives by domestic and overseas financial institutions ahead of the institutionalisation of token securities in South Korea, and ways to use Ethereum-based on-chain infrastructure. The Ethereum Korea Consortium said the conference will run on Sept. 28 to 29.

Trading platform eToro said on July 3 it led a $12.5 million strategic investment in onchain perpetual futures exchange Extended. In a post on X, eToro said the partnership focuses on expanding access to global financial markets through next-generation onchain infrastructure and exploring opportunities to connect traditional financial assets with a decentralised trading environment. Jump Crypto also participated. Extended was founded by former Revolut employees and is built on StarkWare’s StarkEx.

StarkWare has unveiled a \'Private KYC\' demo on StarkNet that allows identity checks without disclosing full personal information. Users can prove facts such as being over 18, holding valid credentials or meeting conditions without revealing passport details or addresses. The system uses STRK20 privacy features and zero-knowledge STARK proofs so verifiers confirm only required facts without collecting full identity data.
