SpaceX expands AI hiring; Elon Musk to review applications himself
SpaceX is expanding hiring for its artificial intelligence unit, and Elon Musk said he will personally review applications that pass an initial screening. Musk said the team is actively recruiting engineers and physicists and asked candidates to email about three bullet points showing evidence of exceptional ability, saying AI experience is not required. The hiring comes as SpaceX prepares for an IPO, after filing an S-1 and targeting fundraising and valuation ranges.

Nvidia makes first delivery of Vera CPU for AI agents, including SpaceX and OpenAI
Nvidia has supplied initial volumes of its first in-house CPU for AI agents, called Vera, to SpaceX. BeInCrypto reported Nvidia also delivered early Vera silicon directly to OpenAI, Anthropic and Oracle Cloud. The company described Vera as its first processor marking an expansion of its GPU-led AI infrastructure business into CPUs. Vera includes 88 Olympus cores and supports up to 1.2 TB/s memory bandwidth, Nvidia said.

Dell bets on Nvidia-based AI factory to expand operations infrastructure
Dell Technologies is expanding its artificial intelligence factory push with Nvidia, aiming to turn AI into business results by strengthening agentic AI from local workstations, a data platform and an open ecosystem. At Dell Technologies World 2026 in Las Vegas, Dell announced updates to its Nvidia-based Dell AI Factory portfolio. It introduced desk-side agentic AI, expanded data and search capabilities, unveiled PowerRack rack-scale infrastructure and cooling, and launched an AI ecosystem program with partnerships including Google, OpenAI, Palantir and SpaceXAI.
