Charles Schwab starts direct trading in bitcoin and ethereum
U.S. brokerage Charles Schwab has begun offering spot trading in bitcoin and ethereum to U.S. retail clients through a new platform, Schwab Crypto, for eligible investors. Clients must open a separate crypto account linked to their existing brokerage account. Charles Schwab Premier Bank will provide custody, while Paxos supports trade execution under U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency oversight. Fees are 75 basis points, or 0.75 percent. The service launched nationwide except in New York and Louisiana.

Netmarble retools \'Kingsroad\' for Asia ahead of PC preview and mobile launch
Netmarble\'s open-world action RPG \'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad\' is set for a PC early release on May 14 and a mobile grand launch on May 21. After about a year of western early access, the company rebuilt its business model, combat system and multiplayer content based on user feedback, creating an Asia version that reworks core systems rather than simple localisation. It removed paid gacha, expanded weapons and added party dungeons, raids and field bosses.

Working engineer cites token limits, quality drop and poor support for canceling Claude
German engineer Niki Reinert said he canceled Anthropic\'s paid Claude plan, citing token usage limits, a decline in response quality and poor customer support. He said the service was fast and reliable at first, but later token limits hit quickly and support replies were slow and unhelpful. Reinert also complained about lost conversation context and repeated token spending, while saying he still liked Claude Code and found some writing tools useful.
