Nexon raises 3.4 billion won with 160,000 users, delivers 1.16 billion won for children\'s medical support

Nexon is continuing children\'s medical support using the \"Nexon Hero 30\" fund built with about 160,000 users. As of October this year, a cumulative 1.16 billion won has been delivered to children\'s medical and rehabilitation programmes. The fund supports home-visit rehabilitation for children with disabilities, improvements to hospital environments and support for patients\' families. The Nexon Foundation said users of 22 games joined the campaign marking Nexon\'s 30th anniversary.

Kakao says AI for Everyone agentic AI platform is core, beta in October

Kakao will provide its \"AI for Everyone\" service through a separate AI platform using KakaoTalk as the main entry point, starting with a new web service and expanding to phone access via LG Uplus. Kakao aims to build an open ecosystem that allows external AI agents on the platform through an AI agent marketplace. The beta is targeted for October, initially as a chatbot, with plans to develop an agentic AI platform within the year.

Kakao selected to run \'AI for Everyone\' project, beta to launch in September

Kakao will build a nationwide artificial intelligence service using KakaoTalk and phone access with 14 companies and institutions including LG Uplus. Kakao said on Aug. 28 its consortium was selected as the operator for the Ministry of Science and ICT programme supporting universal use of AI services, dubbed \"AI for Everyone\". The service will include a general chatbot, public AI agents and specialised agents, with a beta due in September and a formal launch planned this year.
