NHN Cloud held a briefing on Feb. 26 at its Pangyo headquarters, the Play Museum, for Japan's advanced information society inspection delegation. It introduced South Korea's advanced cloud adoption cases and AI infrastructure technology.
The visit was arranged as part of the Internet Columbus Project, in which Japanese business people and experts tour South Korean ICT use cases and seek technology cooperation between the two countries. The delegation is visiting 11 major companies and institutions, including the National Assembly, Seongdong District Office, Seoul City Gas and Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, and NHN Cloud was included as the cloud specialist company. At the briefing, NHN Cloud introduced cloud transition cases and results applied across industries including the public and financial sectors. It particularly highlighted capabilities for stable service operations centered on GPU infrastructure buildout projects.
The delegation closely reviewed cloud transition cases and efficiency gains at South Korean public institutions. It also exchanged views on ways to refer to NHN Cloud's strategy when applying adoption in Japan.
An NHN Cloud official said it was meaningful to share NHN Cloud's service model, cloud design methods that meet security requirements, and know-how on operating AI data centers with key figures leading Japan's IT industry. The official said the exchange would strengthen partnerships with major Japanese companies and further expand global business cooperation.
