Segway teases road-legal next-generation Xyber platform, two new e-bikes
Segway plans to expand its e-bike lineup next year with two new models, including a road-legal e-bike using its next-generation Xyber platform. Segway launches MUXI compact electric bike for commuting and cargo
Personal mobility company Segway has launched the MUXI, a compact electric bike designed for both urban travel and carrying cargo. The model places its 716Wh battery at the bottom of the frame to lower the centre of gravity and uses a design closer to a small electric moped. It reaches up to 32 km per hour with a 750W rear hub motor. The bike offers a central storage area, connectivity features and optional two-person seating, and costs $1,699.
