[Digital Today reporter Jinju Hong] U.S. personal mobility company Segway presented a new vision for electric mobility at CES 2026. Segway unveiled 2 new electric bicycles aimed at everyday riders and a performance-focused electric dirt bike. It made clear its strategy to make lightweight electric powersports a long-term core business.

An electric vehicle outlet, Electrek, reported on Jan. 7 local time that the newly unveiled Myon and Muxi expand the lineup that includes the existing Xyber and Xafari models. The Xaber 300 electric dirt bike is a symbolic model signalling entry into the off-road market.

The Myon is Segway's latest electric bicycle aimed at commuting and leisure. Buyers can choose among Class 1, 2 and 3, and it is priced at $1,999. It provides a 500W motor and up to 85 Nm of peak torque, and can travel up to 80 miles on a single charge.

Segway said the Myon applies the TurboTuned system and Algorithm 2.0. It analyses torque, cadence and motion sensors in real time to deliver a more natural pedaling feel. It also features a proprietary electronic shifting system controlled by handlebar buttons, with detailed settings available through a dedicated app. The color display supports navigation, and a removable top-tube accessory allows frame stiffness adjustment.

The Muxi combines cruiser styling with the practicality of a cargo bike. It can be selected as Class 1 or 2 and is priced at $1,699. The structure was simplified with a single-speed drivetrain and a direct-drive motor, but it includes advanced electronic functions such as hill assist, regenerative braking and traction control.

An optional passenger kit allows it to carry a rider weighing up to 120 pounds. Support for various accessories strengthened urban mobility and usability.

Both the Myon and Muxi come with Segway's Intelligent Ride System. It supports AirLock unlocking, Apple Find My integration, GPS tracking, motion-detection alerts and theft mode. It also includes OTA updates for 6 systems, a 2.4-inch TFT display, intelligent lighting and health data synchronisation with Apple and Android platforms. Some advanced functions switch to a paid subscription after 1 year, but there is an assessment that the basic functions alone are sufficient for everyday riding.

The Xaber 300 is an electric dirt bike and is known to have been inspired by the Dakar Rally X1000 prototype. It is priced at $5,299 and is scheduled to launch in spring or summer 2026. It offers 3 power modes corresponding to 150cc, 200cc and 300cc gasoline bikes, and supports a virtual electronic clutch and terrain-specific traction control. The app allows adjustment of the maximum wheelie angle, and stability control using a gyro sensor is also applied. Features also include parental controls, geofencing and speed limiting, highlighting consideration for family users.
