SK Hynix highlights \'full stack AI memory\' strategy, focuses on 3D stacking

SK Hynix on Tuesday presented a \'Full-Stack AI Memory\' strategy at its 2026 SK Hynix Future Forum held at the Supex Center on its Icheon campus. The company aims to move beyond supplying memory devices to understanding and co-designing AI systems. Executives outlined bundling different memories such as 3D-stacked DRAM, HBM and HBF to match workload characteristics, alongside system-level co-design with ecosystem partners including AI services, software and accelerators.

Choi Tae-won appeals ruling to pay 944 billion won in property division

SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won (최태원) filed an appeal against an appellate ruling ordering him to pay 944 billion won in property division to Noh Soh-young (노소영), director of Art Center Nabi. SK Supex Council said this in a statement issued in the name of his legal representatives. The appeal was filed three weeks after the Seoul High Court ruling on July 24. The case will return to the Supreme Court for review.

SK finalises nine companies for SK Impact Booster with Happynarae

SK is moving to formalise business cooperation with social ventures that have moved beyond the early startup stage. Social enterprise Happynarae, founded by SK, confirmed nine companies for the first SK Impact Booster cohort and held an orientation on July 21 at SK Seorin Building in Seoul. Selected firms will receive 10 million won in support, with up to 60 million won more for PoC projects if they work with SK affiliates.
