SK Specialty labour and management vow trust and cooperation to overcome uncertainty

SK Specialty said it has set up a system to respond to the global semiconductor market through a joint declaration by labour and management. The company held a 2026 labour-management cooperation agreement ceremony at its Yeongju headquarters and formalised their cooperative relationship. The two sides issued a five-point declaration under the slogan \'One team, One Goal,\' focusing on sustainable growth, trust and communication, competitiveness, safety, customer value and social responsibility.

SKT approves tax-free dividend agenda to boost shareholder returns

SK Telecom on March 26 approved its 2025 financial statements and a dividend of 1,660 won per share at its 42nd annual shareholders meeting in Seoul. The company also passed a proposal to cut capital reserves to support “tax-free dividends” aimed at improving shareholder returns, converting 1.7 trillion won into retained earnings for dividend funding. Some articles of incorporation were revised, and new directors were elected.

Samsung, SK join government energy-saving drive with vehicle rotation scheme

Samsung Electronics and SK Group are joining the government’s energy-saving measures amid a spike in international oil prices. Samsung will introduce a 10-day vehicle rotation scheme at all domestic worksites from March 26, with certain vehicles exempt. SK Group will apply weekday driving limits based on licence plate numbers from March 30, also with exemptions. Both groups plan additional steps such as lighting cutbacks and temperature settings.
