SK Specialty has set up a system to respond to the global semiconductor market through a joint declaration by labour and management. The company said it held the 2026 labour-management cooperation agreement ceremony at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at SUPEX Hall at its headquarters in Yeongju and formalised a cooperative relationship between the two sides. The event was attended by CEO Yang-taek Kim (김양택) and union chair Hyun-min Kim (김현민). The agreement began from a shared understanding that labour and management must continue innovation and cooperation as one team, not separate entities.

The two sides issued a five-point joint declaration under the slogan, "One team, One Goal" on Tuesday. They set "achieving sustainable growth for labour-management co-prosperity" as a core value. The declaration included establishing an advanced labour-management culture through trust and communication, strengthening competitiveness to respond to the global semiconductor industry environment, and building a foundation for sustainable growth with safety as the top value.

The declaration also specified creating customer value and practising social responsibility. The remaining two points included creating customer value through top quality and contributing to industrial development, and becoming a trusted company through practising social responsibility.

Kim said, "With uncertainty in the semiconductor industry growing, it is very encouraging that labour and management have come together with one mind." He stressed that a strong labour-management partnership would be the most powerful engine for SK Specialty to lead the global market.

Kim said, "I am grateful to management for listening to voices from the field, and I hope this agreement will become a foundation not only for improving the quality of life of members but also for the company's sustainable growth." He added, "Based on trust and respect, we will put innovation into practice starting from the field."
