Rosota selected for TIPS with surgical technique data collection and standardisation technology

Rosota, an AI robotics company based on surgical data, said on Thursday it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups\' 2026 TIPS R&D general track. RealWorld says physical AI finds answers in industrial sites, not labs

Physical AI company RealWorld has proposed a “deployment-first” strategy that starts by placing robots in industrial sites and then refining technology using data gathered on the job. The company said it revealed its development approach at the Humanoid Summit Seoul 2026 at Coex in Seoul. Chief Executive Joonghee Ryu highlighted a virtuous cycle linking field deployment, industrial data and dexterity. RealWorld is also developing a robotics foundation model and demonstrated RLDX-1 with a five-finger robot hand.
