RLWRLD appoints Carl Choi as U.S. head to strengthen U.S. business

RealWorld joins Upstage consortium to pilot robotics foundation model
Physical AI company RealWorld said on Sunday it will join the government’s cooperation ecosystem for an independent AI foundation model through the Upstage consortium. It plans to link multimodal AI expansion to on-site robot demonstrations by defining vision-language model requirements for robotics foundation model integration, identifying domain tasks across hotels, logistics and retail, and designing detailed pilot scenarios and test protocols. CEO Ryu Joong-hee said reproducibility under defined conditions is key to industrial trust.
