Jay Clayton, figure in XRP lawsuit, nominated for U.S. director of national intelligence
Jay Clayton (제이 클레이턴), the former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission chairman who began an unregistered securities lawsuit against Ripple Labs over XRP, has been nominated as a candidate to lead the U.S. Director of National Intelligence. The nomination comes after opposition in Congress to a prior pick. Clayton is serving as Manhattan U.S. attorney and is reported to have been recommended by CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

Trump pro-crypto push prompts U.S. SEC, Ripple to call for CLARITY Act passage
U.S. securities regulators, Senate Republicans and Ripple Labs have issued support messages for the CLARITY Act, a crypto market structure bill, pressing for action in the full Senate. The statements followed President Donald Trump’s post pledging to make the United States the world’s crypto capital and criticising former SEC Chair Gary Gensler. SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the era of enforcement-driven regulation was over. The bill cleared the Senate Banking Committee 15-9.

XRP-buying Evernorth pushes for Nasdaq listing, files amended S-4 with U.S. SEC
Evernorth Holdings, a company that holds XRP as a digital asset treasury, has filed an amended S-4 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as it seeks a Nasdaq listing, The Crypto Basic reported. The listing is planned through a business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp II and involves a multi-step merger with Pathfinder Digital Assets. The planned ticker is XRPN. The structure includes XRP contributions by Ripple Labs and Chris Larsen and cash-and-XRP funding by investors.
