Finda to build finance AI platform based on Upstage\'s Solar

Finda will work with Upstage to build a finance-focused AI agentic platform. The two companies plan to combine Finda’s financial data with Upstage’s large language model technology to develop AI agent models for financial work and to identify related joint business opportunities. Finda will provide domain data, staff for DPO labelling and UAT, and advice on financial regulation and compliance. Upstage will lead development based on its Solar LLM.

Com2uS, Sungkyunkwan University recruit first cohort for AI Campus training programme

Com2uS will jointly run a practical training programme with Sungkyunkwan University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation to foster AI-based game client development specialists. The company said it will recruit the first cohort for the programme, called AI Campus, through July 10. The 24-week offline course runs from July 21 to Jan. 18 at the university’s Pangyo campus. Training is fully state-funded and includes monthly stipends of up to 400,000 won.

AI extends EV battery life by 23 percent, study says

A study finds that using artificial intelligence to control current during fast charging can extend electric vehicle battery life by up to 23 percent. Researchers at Sweden’s Chalmers University of Technology applied reinforcement learning to a battery management system to adjust current and voltage in real time based on battery condition, reducing stress as the battery ages. The results are based on simulations, and commercial use will depend on reproducing performance in real vehicles.
