82 crypto projects shut down this year, survival at risk amid bear market and funding crunch

A total of 82 cryptocurrency projects and protocols have stopped operating so far this year, as a prolonged bear market, worsening profitability, depleted funding and security incidents weigh on the sector. Researcher Stacey Moore compiled the list and posted it on X, including Balancer and Radiant Capital. Separately, DefiLlama said about 100 projects announced shutdowns this year, citing weak product-market fit and funding constraints despite sizeable fundraising.

Apple unveils health-focused Apple Watch Series 12 starting at 599,000 won

Apple has unveiled the Apple Watch Series 12 with a new health-sensing system and the S11 chip. It adds more accurate heart-rate measurement, a readiness score and audio intelligence features for users with hearing impairment. Nvidia steps up physical AI push in robots and cars, works closely with Chinese companies

Nvidia is expanding beyond AI training chips into physical AI for robots, cars and drones, with the business reaching $10 billion in annual revenue, the Wall Street Journal reported. CEO Jensen Huang said the segment could grow tenfold within 10 years. The company is bundling chips and developer software and distributing open-weight models. U.S. curbs block high-end AI chip sales to China, but robot and auto chips remain allowed, with China seen as key.
