KT pushes commercialisation of remote driving technology with Kia and SUM
KT said it signed an agreement with Kia and autonomous driving technology company SUM at Kia\'s Yangjae headquarters to push the commercialisation of remote driving technology. The partners aim to set up an operating framework to deliver the technology as a service and to identify business models for use in the private and public sectors. They plan work on service operations, data analysis, technology upgrades, exhibitions and legal and institutional groundwork.

Science ministry and National Police Agency hold AI policing R&D showcase
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Police Agency held the third Science Policing R&D achievements exhibition on Tuesday at the police headquarters in Seoul. The event featured five themed zones focused on AI, including investigation support, field support, public safety, robotics and mobility. Exhibits included an AI Raman spectrometer to identify narcotics and systems to detect deepfakes and AI-generated news.

Woowa Youths to support return to work for riders involved in accidents
Woowa Youths has held safety training to support riders returning to delivery work after accidents. The company, which handles logistics services for Baedal Minjok, said it provided safety capability training on July 21 at Baemin Academy Seoul for Baemin Connect riders with accident experience. The program was set up under a safety agreement for delivery platform workers and focuses on preventing repeat accidents, including psychological recovery and support for resuming safe driving.
