Kakao Piccoma adds short-form anime category to Japan mobile app
Kakao Piccoma is adding a short-form animation category to its Piccoma mobile application in Japan as it moves to diversify its intellectual property. The company said it has officially opened an \"Anime\" category in the app. The service provides short-form animated versions of Japanese manga and webtoons available on Piccoma. Kakao posts record first-quarter results, pledges KakaoTalk shift to agentic AI platform
Kakao posted its highest first-quarter sales and operating profit on strong platform growth and efficiency gains, and said it will shift KakaoTalk into an agentic AI platform.
