Nexon confirmed the official name of its new massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Project T', being developed at Grey Games, as 'Tembbal: Overgeared' and on July 28 unveiled its BI and a teaser site.
Tembbal: Overgeared is based on the global IP 'Tembbal', which has recorded more than 1.3 billion cumulative views in South Korea and proved its overseas appeal, ranking No. 1 on Asia fantasy web novel platform 'Wuxiaworld' and fourth in total sales on Japan's digital comics and novel platform 'Piccoma'.
Through the teaser site, Nexon also introduced a teaser video that symbolically depicts equipment, a core element of the game. The video shows numerous swords appearing alongside blue light against a background reminiscent of virtual reality, succinctly conveying the game's identity in which equipment becomes power.
Nexon also formally opened official YouTube and KakaoTalk channels. Starting with the title reveal, it plans to sequentially disclose detailed information about the game, including development updates and major content, through its official channels.
