Nvidia unveils open agent safety platform for AI agents as Anthropic, Microsoft and others join
Nvidia on Sept. 28 unveiled the Open Agent Safety Platform, an open platform designed to secure AI agents from testing through deployment. The company said the platform consists of OpenShell, open-source runtime software that tracks agent actions and enforces policies, and Sentry, a hardware-based reference design that can isolate agents within milliseconds. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said AI’s potential depends on solving safety issues. More than 100 companies are using related technology.

Seminar to cover how companies build ontologies in agentic AI era
A seminar will be held on how to design and build ontology-based knowledge systems as companies move into an agentic AI stage that autonomously performs internal tasks. Devmento said it will host the seminar on Oct. 7 at the Korea Advertising Culture Center in Jamsil. The program covers basic ontology concepts, Palantir Foundry operations, a live ontology build, and domestic and overseas enterprise application cases.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang identified cybersecurity as the next major application for artificial intelligence, saying companies will increasingly use AI to find software vulnerabilities and prevent cyberattacks. He said AI security differs from coding assistants because it must run continuously, and companies are likely to pay to keep such systems operating around the clock, creating recurring revenue potential. Nvidia is also expanding into AI cybersecurity tools through partnerships.
