Sony will launch its Pulse Elite wireless gaming speaker for PlayStation on Nov. 12, expanding its gaming audio lineup. The speaker will be priced at $219.99 in the United States, with preorders starting on Sept. 1. Pulse Elite supports PS5, PlayStation Portal, PCs and macOS-based devices. It features planar magnetic drivers, built-in microphone support for voice chat, PlayStation Link low-latency wireless technology and a dedicated charging dock. It will be sold in black and white with differing distribution channels by region.

Stick drift, in which a character moves or the screen turns without input, continues to occur repeatedly in game controllers. In some cases, simple cleaning can ease symptoms, but users are advised to check whether the warranty remains and to consider maker repair or replacement first. The issue has been frequently raised for Sony\'s PS5 DualSense and Microsoft\'s Xbox Wireless Controller. Hall effect sticks are cited as an alternative, but are not used in those controllers.
